1. Can you please share your experience highlights and achievements as an SEO professional?

For over 14 years I have been the owner of 2 Dogs Media, a WordPress & SEO agency. I have had some amazing development clients including kab.orgrangelands.org and alliancerally.org just to name a few. I have managed to push my skills to the limit with these website projects and was thrilled to have been able to work with such great organizations doing great things.

I have worked with many B-to-B clients on their SEO strategy whether through actual services or consulting and have had success as high as 100%+ year over year.

I have spoken on SEO at local meetings as well as BlogPaws where I received many accolades and repeat clients for my style of teaching.

Prior to 2 Dogs Media I worked as an event planner for companies like DSET Corporation and BMW of North America. I also owned a photography studio for several years as well.

My experiences make me a great fit for a managerial position where I can take ownership and responsibility for making a brand look great digitally!

2. What are your unique strengths as an SEO? Why do these companies need to hire you?

Communication and education! I work closely with every client to make sure they are in the loop at all time through their project, but even more important is the education I provide along the way. In an effort to make them self-sufficient I often educate them on what I am doing and giving tips for them to be able to do more themselves.

3. What type of SEO roles or jobs are you interested in?

I would love to work as a website manager where I can be responsible for all things web! From making their WordPress website awesome to growing traffic organically. Alternatively another passion is teaching and training so a spot with an SEO or WordPress SAAS tool where I can create content, publish tutorials and work with customers would be awesome too.

4. How would you like to contribute in your next SEO role? What’s the impact you wish to have?

I want to make an impact – both in terms of increased visibility/conversions or with making people feel like they are learning and growing from what I provide. Whether that lies in training or website management – my goal is to make people feel successful!

5. What type of companies would you love to work with and why?

Companies that are caring and give back to the community in some way are my must have. I want to be a part of an organization that cares whether it is a SAAS product, nonprofit or business, I just want to know that we are making a difference.

6. Why do you work remotely?

I have always done it because I wanted to be home with my daughter. My husband traveled so it was important when she was younger. Now, I have just grown to love it and I use the time it would take to commute to do charity work instead!

7. How do you tackle remote work challenges? (productivity, communication, etc.)

The only challenge I have found over the years is the loneliness, but that has been getting better every year with the use of more communication tools. There was not a lot in the beginning but now there are so many options. Outside of that I have not had many challenges!

8. Is there anything else that you would like to share about you, personally or professionally?

I am a die-hard animal lover who loves to do photo sessions at shelters, donate digital marketing services to nonprofits and love a good game of scrabble.

9. How can companies get in touch with you to talk more about a potential remote position?

I can be emailed directly at [email protected]
