Early in conceiving their search marketing expertise in Brighton, this agency has earned industry respect through their contributions for both local and wider digital marketing communities. They’ve established a strong inbound marketing strategy, playing host to the most listened-to free marketing podcast, enabled the industry to enjoy the most loved conference, brightonSEO, not to mention their white papers and industry content. With two decades of service, they’ve also earned a wide selection of case studies and testimonials from brands they’ve worked with including Nivea, Dunelm, Vax and Spabreaks!

After seeing success in the team working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, they’re now officially a remote first agency. With a wide industry list of clients, we’re expanding the client services team hiring an Account Manager to the team.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Account Director, as Account Manager you’ll be the middleman working between the agency and it’s customers. Using exceptional people skills and your ability to communicate with a range of people, you’ll develop deep relationships with your contacts. In turn, uncovering their marketing assumptions and goals. Responsible for client retention, nurturing client relationships and supporting the onboarding of new clients through pitches and lead generation, you’ll be well organised and employ good project management skills. These will support you in ensuring client work is delivered on time and at a high standard. You’ll build trust with your clients and as well as understanding their motivations, you’ll identify areas of growth for their goals and targets. Overall, this role needs a positive, proactive person who, using their own marketing experience, can build exceptional long standing relationships with clients.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management
  • Stand out interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Experience in using project management software
  • Confident in presenting to a range of audiences
  • Experience in using reporting and measurement tools to build reports
  • Able to work toward a sales-related performance target
  • Proven experience in producing marketing strategies, proposals, and contracts

LOCATION

Now a remote-first company, this agency currently has an office space in central Brighton but they will be moving into a co-working space in Brighton from October 2021 allowing a mix of remote and in-person working options.
