Available to applicants based in: CanadaLooking for a great way to earn extra cash while you are at home? This project is for you! In this project, you will listen to and evaluate the naturalness of a range of different computer-generated voices speaking in Canadian French, rating how natural they sound (number scale) and providing some extra comments at the end about what you like and dislike about each voice. The evaluation you provide will be used for research into the production of natural-sounding synthetic speech, helping to develop existing technologies in computer voices in order to improve their authenticity.
