Content Marketing Executive (Remote in The UK) in Vestd

Vestd is the UK’s first and only regulated employee share scheme & equity management platform for SMEs. It is used to distribute equity to key people in a straightforward, compliant, affordable manner.

All customers have access to its core features: digital equity management, the ability to issue shares & options instantly, a real time cap table, legal docs, the option scheme designer and shareholder dashboards.

The platform is comprehensively integrated with Companies House, which makes it the most advanced and only fully digital share scheme platform in the UK.

The role

We are looking for a bright, confident marketing professional to help execute our content and communications strategy. For the most part this will be focused within organic channels, with some exposure to paid media.

You will spend the majority of your time working in the following areas:
  • Content (researching, writing, editing, publishing, coordinating)
  • Social media (content distribution, audience engagement, follower growth)
  • Marketing comms (customer emails, newsletters)
This is not an entry-level position, so applicants must be able to demonstrate relevant, real world, practical experience. You should have refined your content marketing chops to some degree, and will be looking to take the next step in your career.

These are the tools we use frequently, so ideally you will already know your way around them (particularly the first one on the list):
  • Hubspot
  • Google Docs / Sheets
  • Slack
  • Trello
  • Google Analytics
The core skills we are looking for are as follows, with bonus points on offer to help you really stand out from the pack:

Essential

  • First rate communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A high degree of creativity and curiosity
  • A self starter (you will not want / need to be micromanaged)
  • The listening skills of a hungry owl
  • Meticulous attention to detail, rigour and quality control
  • Brilliant at prioritisation and managing your own workload
  • Analytical / data skills (you should be cool with numbers, as well as words)
  • The ability to learn fast, and vast reserves of gumption
  • Strong research skills
  • An allergy to corporate PRspeak and associated guff (we prefer Plain English)

Bonus points

  • Experience of working in a remote team
  • An understanding of how equity works
  • Production skills (e.g. video, webinar, podcast)
  • Sketch (or similar design tools)
  • A passion for startup life
  • Entrepreneurial experience
  • Tech skills
  • Worked in a B2B SaaS business
  • A strong network
  • A degree in a relevant topic

Salary range is £25k-£28k depending on experience, plus equity, 25 days holiday + Christmas/New Year shutdown, and various other employee benefits.
