Become a Data Collector!

We are looking for people in Finland to read and record short sentences using our app Appen Mobile.

Project Assignment:
The assignment contains a total of 1000 short sentences that you must read on the screen and record using the Appen Mobile application. You only have to follow the ready-made sentences, it is not necessary to create your own sentences.
– Example of a sentence to be read: “Okay Alexa, I need directions to work”

Project Duration:
Reading one sentence takes an average of 3-6 seconds. In total, for 1000 recordings, you should allow 5 hours. Of course, we encourage you to take breaks, and we give you at least 7 days to record the task in its entirety.

Standard Requirements:
-Sufficiently new smartphone
– iOS device must be iPhone 8 or newer
– Android device must be 2017 or newer
-Your language is Finnish and you live in Finland
-Ability to record in a very quiet indoor space, without background noise
