Superside is looking for an ambitious Outreach & Digital PR Specialist to help us generate awareness about Superside and our differentiators. This person will form a key role within the SEO team sourcing links and PR opportunities to drive organic traffic, improve Authority Score and work closely with the broader marketing team to ultimately increase brand awareness within our target audiences.

We are looking for someone who is great at building relationships and an expert at getting content, articles and mentions on websites to earn links. We are looking for someone who believes in high quality outreach activities – NOT guest posting duplicate content on free blogging platforms, but rather, achieving content and link placements on relevant websites that drive value, traffic and good SEO signals.

The candidate will need to have hands-on experience with SEO outreach activities, a proven track record and portfolio showcasing PR and link placements. Digital PR experience is a must as the successful candidate will be required to carry out digital PR activities, such as obtaining podcast placements or thought leadership feature opportunities. You will also collaborate with the SEO manager and content marketing teams to develop link-worthy content.

The role is well suited to individuals who have a natural talent for writing, journalism and a passion for driving SEO success. The successful candidate will need to have a good working knowledge of Google’s link scheme policies and best practices, as well as demonstrable outreach / social experience with particularly strong communication skills. This position will own a key function in a marketing team that has proven its ability to drive rapid growth from $1M-$10M ARR, and be part of our ongoing growth journey from $10M to $100M ARR and beyond.

What You’ll Do

  • Setup and monitor link acquisition and outreach campaigns
  • Own, and drive the Offsite SEO strategy to acquire backlinks that positively impact organic rankings
  • Conduct link profile analysis, detoxing activities and recapture lost links where possible
  • Contribute to the research and ideation process for developing link-worthy content assets
  • Conduct research and prospecting for new websites to collaborate with
  • Identify, create and pursue partners to secure exposure and links
  • Successfully pitch to websites for link placements of owned content assets
  • Craft compelling outreach emails that get responses and can generate links
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry websites for future opportunities
  • Leverage your existing networks to get assets or links placed
  • Target relevant websites not only to increase DA/AS but also have the ability to capture referral traffic
  • Conduct link building activities which are “white hat” and follow Google’s best practices guidelines
  • Contact website owners, journalists, influencers and others which we have the potential to work with via email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter or others to be successful

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in any field—we are open to all curious people
  • Experience working in an SEO Outreach and/or digital PR capacity, building, running and managing successful outreach activities and campaigns
  • Experienced level of knowledge with tools such as AHREFS, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and link outreach tools
  • Demonstrable examples of improving overall DA/AS where you have sourced PR opportunities and gained links
  • You have the ability to spot link opportunities and deliver on those through a variety of platforms such as linkedIn and email
  • Good overall understanding of SEO and Digital PR
  • Ownership mentality. You’re not just “providing a service”. Where possible, you will own projects and programs start to finish
  • Experience in the design space is a huge plus
  • B2B SaaS experience is a huge plus
