About Publicate

We are a small but passionate startup, changing the way that internal comms teams design and build their newsletters.

We are expanding the team, and are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SAAS Product Marketing Manager with a focus on CRO and UX. You will be responsible for managing, testing and implementing conversion points across the marketing funnel.

Everything involved in getting customers from their first visit on the website to starting a trial, converting to paid, to being a retained heavy user of the platform and reducing churn.

The Role

This is a new role within the company and needs someone who is not afraid to take ownership of setting and achieving the right outcomes. You will live and breathe Customer Experience, UX and CRO and are knowledgeable about the latest techniques and best practices. You are someone who takes initiative and has a creative approach to problem-solving.

Your Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of an onboarding and conversion strategy, including the wider marketing funnel
  • Monitoring conversion rate metrics across the middle of the funnel and ensure the right outcomes are being achieved
  • Tracking, interpreting and supporting user behaviour
  • Identifying opportunities across customer service, content and design where you can support the team and enhance performance
  • Ideating and taking a problem-solving approach to adjust approach in order to achieve outcomes
  • Creating and/or briefing for the relevant marketing assets needed in order to achieve the desired outcomes throughout the funnel
  • Collaborating with the wider team for buy-in and support with the defined strategy
  • Identifying & testing new technologies and best practices to improve onboarding and retention performance
  • Setting up and management of all analytics platforms and tools as you need, as well as reporting dashboards for bi-weekly meetings
  • Set and deliver against outcomes on a bi-weekly, monthly and yearly basis
This role is initially a full-time position in getting things set up and into running a coherent strategy, but then could transition to part-time depending on your preference.

As such this means you will also be responsible for the training and education of team members who will be running any activities on a day-to-day basis.

We are happy for you to be working on other projects if in a part-time position, as long as you can commit to prioritising ensuring results for Publicate.

Your Skills

  • Have 3+ years experience in SAAS onboarding, customer satisfaction, retention and CRO, full journey and lead nurturing
  • Have experience with Intercom, Woopra, HotJar and other similar tools
  • Be heavily customer focused and have experience in user research and user testing
  • Expert use of customer experience platforms, eg Optimizely, and Google Analytics
  • Strong grasp of ROI with an analytical mind to mine data for insights and generate hypothesis for constant and fast iteration testing
  • Problem driven and able to take initiative
  • Is a critical thinker with great attention to detail
  • Be confident in training junior team members
  • Experienced working in an agile environment
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Understanding of wider digital practices
