Job role: Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test
Work duration: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Pactera EDGE, a global provider of technology and digital platform services, is looking for Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test to work on key accounts programs. The ideal candidates are tech professionals based in Serbia.
What the role entails:
- Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
- Create test cases and execute tests to identify software problems
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
- Document results of tests for the software development team
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
- Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
- Research and compare similar competitor products
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
- Create and manage automation testing
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Collect quality data
- Identify key KPIs for product quality
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; and proficient in English
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Comfortable with version control, preferably Git
- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- 5+ years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI, functional, system, performance and security testing, and Automated Testing
- Experience with QA tools and automation processes
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
