Introduction Travel Homes currently operates 38 apartments in Colmar and Mulhouse. We aim the 40 units marks by the end of 2022. The company is constantly growing since its creation in 2018 (from 1 to 38 apartments in 5 years).

We are hiring a new CEO (The Visionary) to replace the founder. The founder will not be involved in the company operation’s anymore once the transition is over.

We want to stay local: be a small giant or a big fish in a small pond you could say. We want to maintain a high level of quality. You’ll primarily be in situation of maintaining the success accumulated over the last 5 years.

The mission of The Visionary is to lead and inspire the company. He/she keeps increasing the company’s profit and will reach the 40% profitability within 2 years. The visionary will have full P&L accountability and responsibility. The Visionary will share, cultivate, and deepen the company culture. He/she will show to the world what it means to free people with innovations and technologies.

Structure & reporting

The role is mainly strategic. Since it is a small company (< 10 employees), you will always be very close to the other sides of the business (operation, HR, IT) ; if necessary, you might have to step in.

A weekly meeting will be held with The Freedom Agent & The Life Saviors (operations & customer service) to review the metrics
A Monthly Health Check will be done every month and all metrics will be forwarded to the Teams: The Freedom Agent & the 6 cleaning teams.
Once the transition is over, a trimestral review will take place with the founder (the only stakeholder)

Outcomes

* Go from a 35% SDE to a 40% SDE margin within 2 years.

– Constantly improve the company’s performance by planning quarterly projects
– Measure the company performance through the metric tool of your choice

* Operate an annual risks analysis

* Operate an annual opportunity analysis

* TopGrade the whole organization, ensuring 90 percent or more of employees are A Players as defined by the scorecards. Achieve a 90 percent or better ratio of A Players across the team within 2 years through hiring and coaching. Remove all chronic C Players within ninety days of identification

* Monitor prices and maximum revenue by increasing the Revenue per Available Listing

* Manage local regulatory concerns and local politics

Efficiency: Able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort.

Honesty/integrity: Does not cut corners ethically. Earns trust and maintains confidences. Does what is right, not just what is politically expedient. Speaks plainly and truthfully.

Persistence: Demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done.

Constant learning: Is an avid learner (Being a reader is a plus)

Open communication, honesty and transparency

Location: Alsace + Remote.

It means, you’ll be on ground (in Alsace) when implementing new strategies in the apartments, finding new partners, …  The rest of the time, you are free to choose wherever you want to be.

Starting date: 1st Semester 2023

Requirement: Self-employed (if not yet, you should be willing to open a structure to receive payments)

Compensation: The more you perform, the more you get. Your compensation will be tied to the company profitability (a lot), it can go up to around 125.000€ according to your performance.

As an example, the compensation for the performance of The Visionary 2022 is currently 57.000€ with an average of 33 apartments throughout the year, and a profitability of 35%
