I have a vast network of professional contacts including, photographers, designers, printers & copywriters who, if required, I can call upon to assist with projects.
Software / Tool Experience

- Google Search Console
- SEMRush
- AHREFs
- Microsoft and Docs
3. What type of SEO roles or jobs are you interested in?
Ideally I will work as an SEO Manager/ Marketing Manager (with responsibility for SEO).
Having previously worked in account management for several digital marketing agencies I am knowledgeable in all of marketing (on and off line) and if not carrying out the work myself am skilled to manage/ coordinate all aspects of marketing outside of SEO including emarketing, PPC, design, PR, social media and direct marketing.
4. How would you like to contribute in your next SEO role? What’s the impact you wish to have?
I would like to be an integral part of your business to help increase your online presence, brand awareness and to help you to achieve both your business and personal goals.
I specialise in SEO, however I started my career in marketing before the boom in digital, as such I have an arsenal of tools and tactics to use to complement organic search both on and offline.
5. What type of companies would you love to work with and why?
I would like to work with companies who have a passion for the products and/ or services they produce, the environment within which they operate and who put their customers first.
My interests include dogs (I have a Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla), the outdoors, health, clay shooting and food and drink. I would particularly enjoy working for a company in any of these areas.
Within section one of this interview I mentioned working for a company who’s industry is septic tanks…dull maybe, however I really enjoyed this client because he was so enthusiastic and passionate about his product and the benefits that it brings to his customers. His enthusiasm was infectious and I was enthused and inspired to do everything I could to help him grow his business.
6. Why do you work remotely?
I feel more productive working at home, in an environment with fewer distractions and in a space that I am comfortable in which enables me to think both analytically and creatively.
I find that I achieve and accomplish far more working from home and it also provides me with increased opportunities to work with companies that I might not otherwise be able to due to geographical restraints.
A typical working day for me starts at 6am. I walk my dog and, when possible, fit a swim in too. This routine gives me the opportunity to listen to industry podcasts and time to think and plan my day. This is achieved as I don’t lose time traveling to and from work and reduces stress and anxiety from poor commuting experiences and of course travel costs. So when I start working I am in a relaxed and positive state of mind.
7. How do you tackle remote work challenges? (productivity, communication, etc.)
Communication
I am happy to adapt with communication systems I have, up until now used Zoom, Join.me and Slack.
I work through a hi-speed fiber optic internet connection from Virgin Media. My band width is 80.2Mbps download.
Productivity
I manage my time by prioritising tasks and then scheduling/ time chunking throughout the day/ week. At the end of each day I run through tasks completed and write a to-do-list for the following day which aids my productivity.
8. Is there anything else that you would like to share about you, personally or professionally?
I choose to work in marketing and specialise in SEO because I enjoy it and know that I can make a difference. I delight in the challenges and variety of skills I am required to use, from analytics to creative copy and design flare. It’s a career that keeps me on my toes and requires me to constantly learn and develop in order to keep up today within a very fast moving environment.
Throughout my career I have always kept my skills up-to-date from studying to achieve professional qualifications such as my diploma in digital marketing to SEO with key players in the industry. I keep abreast with new industry developments by following and participating in groups and with professionals on social media, listening to podcasts and attending events such as BrightonSEO and Women in Tech SEO.
When I’m not working you will find me in the swimming pool, walking my dog, cooking or maybe shooting a few clays with my partner or friends. I also enjoy the delights and social interaction you can only achieve in a great British pub.
Fun fact: I’m an ex-landlady! (without leopard skin or swinging earrings…and I promise I never told anyone ‘to get out my pub’)
9. How can companies get in touch with you to talk more about a potential remote position?
