SEO Specialist in SingleCare

About the role

We are looking for an SEO specialist to join the SingleCare team to help drive SEO growth at scale. The SEO specialist will work closely with the online marketing, product, and content teams to help ensure that all elements of the SingleCare site are optimized and performing well in search. The day to day for this role will focus on projects like:
  • Analyze existing pages to improve optimization
  • Working with the content team to plan new content and optimize existing content
  • Identifying new opportunities to grow organic traffic
  • Performing technical audits of the site, new pages, and competitors
  • Auditing site updates to identify problems
  • Determining causes for changes in performance
  • Reporting and performance tracking

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a team player who has drive to dig in and help push SingleCare forward. Specifically, we are looking for:
  • 2-4 years of experience rolling up your sleeves and doing SEO
  • Curiosity coupled with a desire to understand problems and come up with effective solutions
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to leverage large datasets to make decisions
  • Extensive keyword research experience
  • A successful track record with content marketing and onsite optimization
  • An understanding of how JavaScript impacts SEO
  • Proficiency with tools like Excel, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Botify, Stat, Moz, SEMrush, ahrefs, Clearscope, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.
Bonus points for:
  • Experience with AMP / PWAs
  • Familiarity with programming languages
  • You know what log files are and have looked at them before
  • Experience working on sites which leverage a JavaScript framework
  • A history of creating data based content
  • Being an excel wizard
