Instana is looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in Europe who will serve as the technical champion for its largest enterprise customers. The TAM provides personalized, proactive support and guidance and develops deep relationships with assigned accounts to understand their environment as well as technical and business goals.

Additionally, as their internal advocate, the TAM works closely with Engineering, Product Management and the rest of the Customer Success Team to influence prioritization and resource utilization.

Areas of Responsibility Include:
  • Lead and develop onboarding and best practices training content
  • Drive adoption and business goal attainment
  • Build strong relationships with assigned accounts
  • Present strategy content and roadmap information
  • Be an internal customer advocate for overcoming adoption blockers
  • Provide paid training and architectural assistance
Skills and Experience Needed:
  • Strong technical background and customer orientation
  • Experience with Application Performance Management (APM)
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Java, .Net, Ruby, C, Python
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Knowledge of containers and microservice application architecture and networking
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to Travel Internationally up to 50%
  • BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
